For the third time in 11 days, India administered over one crore COVID-19 vaccine doses in a single day on Monday. The total number of doses administered has crossed 69.68 crore, stated the Union Health Ministry.

On Monday, 1,05,76,911 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered. Data obtained till 7 pm suggested that 53,29,27,201 individuals have received the first dose thus far while 16,39,69,127 have been administered the second dose. A total of 27,64,10,694 individuals in the age group of 18-44 years have been given their first dose and 3,57,76,726 have received their second dose since the beginning of Phase-3 of the vaccination campaign… (New Indian Express, September 6, 2021)
